India Gate
India Gate was build in 1931 , it is 42 m high arch of victory. The names of 90,000 soldiers who lost their lives during third world war was inscribed on the walls. In 1971, Amar Jawan Jyoti lit himself under the arc of India gate in the honor of brave unknown soldiers. It is also known as the All India War Memorial, India Gate was designed and constructed by Sir Edwin Lutyens.
Best time to visit the India gate is after sunset when the atmosphere become pleasant.
