Birla Mandir
Birla Mandir is one of the landmarks in the nation’s capital New Delhi. It is also known as Laxmi Narayan Temple as it was built by industrialist G. D. Birla. It was inaugurated in 1938 by Mahatma Gandhi.The temple is constructed in Orissa style of architecture with red sandstone and white marble used at strategic places. The highest tower in the temple reaches a height of 165 feet. The Geeta Bhavan, a hall is adorned with beautiful paintings depicting scenes from Indian mythology. There is also a temple dedicated to Buddha in this complex with fresco paintings describing his life and work. The idols of the temple were carved by 101 skilled craftsmen from Benaras, headed by Acharya Vishvanath Shastri.

Lotus Temple
The Bahai House of Worship in Delhi is commonly called The Lotus Temple due to its architectural resemblance to a lotus. It is made of marble, cement, dolomite and sand. It is open to all faiths and is an ideal place for meditation and obtaining peace and tranquility.Designed by Fariborz Sahba, a Canadian architect of Iranian origin, it took ten years to complete. Baha'ullah includes Abraham, Moses, Buddha, Zoroaster, Christ and Muhammad.
Prayer sessions are conducted four times a day. Prayers of all religions are delivered during these sessions. The timings for prayer sessions are as follows:

SKCON Temple
ISKCON Temple is made by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in 1998 in Delhi. It is also known as the Hare Rama Hare Krishna temple. The art paintings by Russian artists here depict lives and events related to Hindu mythological characters, like Radha-Krishna, Sita-Ram, Laxman, Hanuman and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Dedicated mainly to Lord Krishna, this temple is one of the largest temple complexes in India. The entire temple is basically made up of red and yellow sandstone. The interiors are very simple in nature and decorated with paintings. The main attraction is the central hall which has a beautiful statue of Radha-Krishna and the walls decorated with religious quotes and customs.
