Gauri Shankar Temple
Gauri Shankar Temple is located on the main Chandni Chowk Road.It is 800 years old and one of the most important temple of Lord Shiva , it has 800 year old brown lingam (phallus stone) encased in marble representation of a female organ , basically lingam according to Hinduism represent a cosmic pillar, the center of universe, the life itself.Gauri Shankar Mandir is among the best reservd temples of Lord Shiva in India.Temple has marble stairs , beautiful pillar carved with chains and bells leads to temple courtyard. The Courtyard is always packed with devotes that comes from various cities.It has various small shops that sells puja items that includes Rice , sandalwood paste, Bilva leaves , flowers and other necessary material of puja.The Courtyard also has a marble made chair that belong to Hindu Saint BhagatSwaroop Bramachari who spend 50 years in this temple. It is his portrait and sacdals that are kept here with his teaching .
The Gauri Shankar Temple have the idols of Lord Shiva , his consort Parvati and their sons , Ganesh and Kartik(god of war) , hence the name of temple was derived from Gauri symbolize Parvati and Shankar symbolize Shiva.The idols of Lord Shiva and Parvati , wearing gold Jewellary are situated just behind the lingam.

Hanuman Mandir
Hanuman Mandir is said to be made by Maharaja Jai Singh along with Jantar Mantar in 1724. It is located on Baba Kharag singh Marg, Cannaught Place. With a new look given to the complex outside mandir, this temple looks outstanding.Ceiling of the main mandap of the temple sports paintings of scenes from Tulsidas' Ramcharitmanas. Just below the paintings, verses from the Sunderkand from Ramcharitmanas are engraved in marble. The temple has undergone several times.
